Healthy individuals may experience various health issues if seasonal changes are not promptly addressed. Existing respiratory symptoms may also be triggered by these seasonal changes; therefore those with respiratory issues should be extra careful and well-prepared in the event of such changes.

Infectious diseases such as the common cold, influenza, cough, asthma, and other respiratory infections are very common due to these seasonal changes. Therefore, rather than being ill, it is advisable to take the required precautions to stay safe and healthy.

In Ayurveda, there are numerous formulations that help to prevent these seasonal ailments and strengthen your immune system. Lavangadi Vati is one of these traditional formulations and is used to alleviate chronic cough, congestion, sore throat, and various other respiratory disorders. It reduces throat irritation, releases mucus, and clears air passages.

Lavangadi Vati is made up of five herbs like clove, acacia, black Pepper, Bibhitaki, and black catechu; these when combined provide health-benefiting results in cough, asthma, and fever (1). It has anti-inflammatory, demulcent, antiseptic, and expectorant properties.
